The Stone

Plain white marble, cut square. The veining is light: most pieces show only a faint grey drift rather than the strong figuring of a marble worktop, so a set reads as a block of clean white on the table.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is cut square from a larger slab and the four edges are trued by hand, which is why the corners are never quite identical. Real metal is then electroformed onto the rim: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
