The Stone

Deep black obsidian, a natural volcanic glass, in a hand-cut square format. One of the most striking and dramatic stones in the collection. The uniformity of the black makes the gold electroformed edge particularly vivid.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is hand-cut from natural stone. The edge is then electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent border. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
