The Stone

Cream and golden brown banded together, with small druzy pockets, open crystal cavities, breaking the surface on some pieces. Those pockets are what stop this set looking finished in the way the plain slabs do, and they are the reason most people choose it.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is cut square from a larger slab and the four edges are trued by hand, which is why the corners are never quite identical. Real metal is then electroformed onto the rim: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
