The Stone

A round platter constructed from a mosaic of white crystal agate cross-sections: each slice revealing its own internal mineral structure: concentric banding, fine druzy inclusions, and the characteristic milky-white translucency of natural white agate. The individual pieces are varied in size and shape, fitting together in an organic, non-uniform mosaic. The surface reads as white-to-near-clear, with each piece contributing something slightly different to the whole.

Craftsmanship

Each agate cross-section is individually hand-cut and assembled into a flat, circular mosaic surface. The pieces are fitted together and set within a polished electroformed metal rim. The construction showcases the natural character of each individual stone slice rather than smoothing it away.
