The Stone

Vivid, saturated, and immediate. This platter is cut from a single slab of pink agate, a deep magenta-fuchsia that bleeds and swirls like watercolour across the surface, the exact pattern differs in every piece. The stone is strongly translucent, which gives the colour real depth: it does not sit flat on the surface, it moves within the stone. The organic rounded outline and jagged gilded edge frame it naturally.

Craftsmanship

The stone is hand-cut into a large slab format. The edge is electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent border. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone.
