The Stone

The squares are cut from a warmer, creamier white than the round or organic edge sets, with soft grey cloudiness drifting through the middle of most pieces. Squared edges make that cream read closer to marble than to agate.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is cut square from a larger slab and the four edges are trued by hand, which is why the corners are never quite identical. Real metal is then electroformed onto the rim: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
