The Stone

A round slab of white agate, hand-rounded rather than machine-cut, milky and soft-toned with faint grey clouding drifting through the stone.

The Design

The hand-rounded outline is finished with a scalloped metal border that follows every small irregularity in the cut. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
