The Design

Two snakes worked into a single sinuous pull, the body curving through an S and the head finishing one end. The scales are worked along the full length and the handle mounts on two posts, so it reads as a length of movement across the cabinet front.

Craftsmanship

Each handle is cast in solid brass and finished by hand with an antique patina, so the recesses hold a darker tone while the raised detail stays brighter. Small differences in patina and surface between pieces come from the casting and finishing rather than being faults. Screws are included.

Specifications

  • Material: solid brass
  • Finish: antique brass or antique copper
  • Length: approximately 7 inches (18 cm)
  • Fixings: screws included
  • Set of 2
  • Fits standard modular kitchen, wardrobe and vanity cabinet bores

Each piece is individually cast and hand finished, so tone and texture will vary slightly from handle to handle.

Gifting

A genuine conversation piece, and the boldest thing in the range. A gift for someone with a strong interior, a bar, a study or a dark wardrobe, who already owns the safe options. Brass makes it a Dhanteras present, and the design makes it one nobody else will have given.

Care

Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and prolonged moisture, which will strip the antique patina.

Unique and well-made

Really happy with these. The brass is solid, the detail is crisp, and they look incredible. Two handles were slightly tighter to screw in but once done they're very secure.

My kitchen is a different place now

I replaced boring handles with these snake ones and the transformation is jaw-dropping. The brass is rich and warm and the snake design is elegant rather than kitschy. 10/10 would recommend.

Sculptural hardware at its finest

These handles are tiny works of art. The detail in the snake scales is incredible and the brass patina is gorgeous. My vintage dresser now looks like a bespoke antique.
