The Stone

Amethyst cut as a faceted dome: flat facets worked over a raised, rounded stone, so the knob stands proud of the cabinet front rather than sitting flat against it. Colour runs from pale lilac through to a deep saturated violet, with white and grey quartz veining running through most pieces.

Craftsmanship

Each stone is seated in an electroformed metal collar that grips it around the base. Electroforming grows real metal directly onto the stone rather than laying foil or gilt over it, so the collar follows the exact line where the dome meets the mount and stays bonded to the piece. The thread and fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.
