The Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is the stone of love, harmony, and gentle energy. The chips set on this chalice read closer to milky white than to pink: a pale, frosted stone with only the faintest warm blush running through it, nearer cream and oatmeal in daylight. Each chip is entirely natural, and the variation in shade and texture means no two chalices are alike.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is made by hand. Genuine rose quartz chips are set one at a time around the lower half of a ribbed glass cup, and a second bed of chips is packed across the foot. Real metal is then built up over both through an electroforming process, forming a thick, solid layer that locks every chip in place and rises above the stone in tall, flame-like points that reach up over the clear glass. Between the two bands the short stem is wrapped in metal rather than left clear. Unlike paint or thin plating, this is solid deposited metal: it will not rub off, chip, or peel. The outermost layer is applied in your finish of choice: gold, silver, or rose gold.
