The Map

The same map, built up rather than laid flat. Blocks stand at their real heights, roads run between them at ground level, and the whole city is carried on a base that lets it stand on a desk without a mount. Seen from the side it reads as a skyline; seen from above, as a plan.

The largest and most worked piece we make. It is meant to be picked up.

Craftsmanship

Real metal, formed over the sculpted shape rather than cast, so each block keeps its own height and the streets stay open at the base of them. The metal is bonded to the surface, not painted or plated, so it will not chip, flake or peel. Raised gold, buffed back by hand, against a blackened ground. That contrast is what lets it read from a distance.

Built to last

UV-protected and weather-treated after finishing. It is made for a wall inside the house, but it holds its colour in direct sun and through the monsoon, so a covered verandah or a porch wall is equally safe. No fading, no rust bleed, no repainting.

Personalisation

Yours to choose: the location, how far out the map is drawn, and the label along the base. Written in any language: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali. Long names are welcome; the lettering is set to fit your name rather than your name cut to fit the plate. Send the spelling exactly as you want it and a design preview comes back by email before anything is made.

Display

Free-standing. The base is weighted and finished on both faces, so it can sit against a wall or out in the open on a table without a back to hide.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. No metal polish or scouring, the dark ground is meant to stay dark.
