The Stone

A matte olive green, flatter and more muted than the other greens here, with very little visible banding across the face. The surface reads closer to slate than to polished agate, and the raw broken edge is the only irregular line on the piece.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is hand cut from a single piece of natural stone and the outer edge is left as the slab broke, so no two silhouettes match. Real metal is then electroformed onto that edge: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
