The Stone

The cleanest surface in the collection. The white agate lazy susan is assembled from large irregular white agate chunks: each one showing a raw, crystalline surface texture rather than a smooth polished face. The overall effect is bright white with a slightly sugary, grainy quality: tactile and organic, not clinical. Very little colour variation across the disc: just the seam lines between pieces and the subtle texture of each natural surface catching light differently.

Craftsmanship

Each white agate chunk is individually hand-cut and assembled into a circular mosaic. The pieces are fitted closely together and enclosed within a rim that is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the stone edge, forming a permanent border that follows the natural contour of the disc. The assembly is then mounted on a smooth rotating bearing. The natural crystalline surfaces of the stone are preserved rather than polished away.
