The Stone

Purple agate ranges from deep grape and plum through to a lighter lilac, with fine banding drawing pale lines across the darker ground. Occasional colour pooling gives some areas more intensity than others, and pieces may feature crystalline centres. Jewel toned and bold.

Craftsmanship

The stone is hand cut into a slab and left with its own natural outline. The edge is then electroformed: real metal is electrically grown onto the stone itself, building a solid, permanent border that follows every contour. It is not paint, gilding or gold leaf, so it will not chip, peel or rub away. A pair of clean semicircular loop handles, electroformed to match your chosen finish, is mounted through the stone at each end.
