The Piece

An arched plaque standing on its own moulded rail. A fan of tapered rays opens across the top from a half sun at the centre, and below it your words sit on a charcoal field, two lines in the large lettering and one smaller line under a fine divider. A lit diya sits at each lower corner, its flame curling up into the scrollwork.

Small enough to live on a console through the year, bright enough to earn its place on the table at Diwali.

Craftsmanship

Real metal, formed over the sculpted shape rather than cast, so the lettering keeps its edge and the rays stay separate instead of filling in. The metal is bonded to the surface, not painted, so it will not chip, flake or peel. Raised gold, buffed back by hand, against a blackened ground.

Built to last

UV-protected and weather-treated after finishing. It holds its colour in direct sun and through the monsoon, so a verandah table or a window ledge is as safe as an indoor console. No fading, no rust bleed, no repainting.

Personalisation

Three lines are yours: two across the centre in the large lettering, and one smaller line beneath the divider. It is shown reading Together We Shine over With Gratitude, and most people keep exactly that. Change either and it becomes a name, a date, a wish, or a line in your own words.

Written in any language, English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali. The lettering is set to fit what you send rather than your words cut to fit the field. Send the spelling exactly as you want it and a design preview comes back by email before anything is made.

Dimensions and weights are approximate. Each piece is made and finished by hand, so small variations are normal.

On the table

The rail runs the full width of the plaque and stands on two feet, so it sits square without a stand or a prop. Nothing to fix, nothing to assemble. Lift it, wipe under it, put it back.

Where it works

On the console by the front door through Diwali week, on the dining table between the diyas, on a mandir shelf, on a desk at home. It reads best with a light source low and to one side, where the raised gold throws its own shadow.

Gifting

A Diwali gift that outlasts the week. It carries words you chose rather than a greeting anyone could have printed, which is what stops it being passed along in January. Works well for a first Diwali in a new home, Dhanteras, a housewarming, and for parents.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. No metal polish or scouring, the dark ground is meant to stay dark.
