The Stone

Panels of several different stones set side by side in one 12 inch circle: a purple amethyst geode, sage green aventurine, blush and white quartz, and a deep violet agate slice banded in concentric rings.

The Design

Each panel is cut to fit its neighbours and the whole circle is bound and framed in a fine metal rim. Because the stones are chosen individually, no two of these clocks are alike. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
