The Stone
A mosaic of coloured agate fragments in pink, magenta, violet, turquoise and white, set together and cut square. The pieces are crystalline rather than smooth, so there are visible facets across the face. This is the brightest thing in the coaster range by some distance.
Craftsmanship
Each coaster is cut square from a larger slab and the four edges are trued by hand, which is why the corners are never quite identical. Real metal is then electroformed onto the rim: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
