The Stone

Light ink blue agate in wide, elongated oval handles: a soft periwinkle-blue with cloudy white patches and gentle darker veining that gives each handle a layered, atmospheric depth. The wide rounded oval form is the most organic of the salad server handle shapes, letting the stone's natural character come forward.

Craftsmanship

Each handle is hand-cut from natural stone. The edge is then electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent rim. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.

Specifications

Set of 2: serving fork and serving spoon
Material: Light ink blue agate
Handle: Wide elongated oval, soft periwinkle-blue with cloudy white patches and darker veining, gold electroformed edges
Servers: Gold stainless steel fork and spoon
Natural stone: every handle is one of a kind
Food safe

As each piece is naturally formed, colour, grain, and pattern will vary.

Gifting

A serving pair that gets used rather than stored. The light ink blue agate handles give the set weight that plain metal does not. Works well for a wedding, an anniversary or a new home.
