The Stone

Labradorite is prized for its labradorescence: a natural optical phenomenon where the stone shifts from a dark grey-green base to vivid flashes of blue, teal, and gold as the light angle changes. The degree and colour of the flash varies with every piece. In natural or candlelit settings, the effect is particularly striking. No photograph fully captures what labradorite does in person.

Craftsmanship

Each handle is a hand-selected slice of natural labradorite, shaped into a clean rectangle and set with a silver electroformed edge. Electroforming is a precision technique where real metal is electrically deposited onto the stone: not painted, glued, or plated. The handles are mounted into high-quality stainless steel cutlery, balanced for everyday use.
