The Stone

White agate in cream and ivory, crystalline and lightly luminous, with the natural grain of the stone reading clearly across the face.

The Design

Pieces of agate in matching tones are set together and bound in clear resin to form one firm rectangular face, then bordered in metal. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
