The Stone

Kambaba jasper cut as a rectangle with stepped facets, the same cut a jeweller calls an emerald cut. The ground is a deep forest green carrying the round orbicular rings the stone is known for, and the rings vary in size and density so no two knobs in a set repeat.

Craftsmanship

Each stone is held in a heavy electroformed bezel that wraps the sides and corners. Electroforming grows real metal directly onto the stone in a plating bath rather than laying foil or paint over it, so the metal is bonded to the piece and follows every irregularity of the cut. The thread and fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.
