The Stone

Clear quartz cut as a rectangle with stepped facets down the sides. The stone is not glass-clear: it runs from near-transparent through soft smoke to a pale mauve, with veils and fracture lines held inside it that catch the light. That cloudiness is natural to the material.

Craftsmanship

Each stone is held in a heavy electroformed bezel that wraps the sides and corners. Electroforming grows real metal directly onto the stone in a plating bath rather than laying foil or paint over it, so the metal is bonded to the piece and follows every irregularity of the cut. The thread and fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.
