Blue Agate Cheese Platter — Gold, Silver or Rose Gold Edge

The Stone

Blue agate at its most dramatic. The platter is assembled from individual agate cross-sections: each slice showing its own concentric banding, from deep midnight navy to cerulean blue and pale sky-blue at the centres. Some slices are darker, almost black-blue; others glow pale blue-white at the middle. Packed together in a near-rectangular mosaic, the surface reads like a collection of small stained-glass windows, each one a different temperature of blue.

Craftsmanship

Each agate slice is individually hand-cut and assembled together with a mineral filler. The pieces are fitted closely and set within an electroformed metal border. The natural banding within each slice is preserved and visible in the finished platter.
