The Stone

Black agate in irregular rectangular handle slabs: completely opaque and deep black, with natural variation in surface character between pieces: some handles are smooth and slightly glossy, others show a more matte, textured surface. The gold electroformed edges create the sharpest colour contrast in the cutlery collection.

Craftsmanship

Each handle is hand-cut from natural stone. The edge is then electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent rim. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
