The Stone
Solid, and almost entirely without pattern. These slabs read as a flat near black with a faint cool blue cast to the surface, and none of the banding that runs through most agate. The broken outer edge is the only thing that varies from piece to piece.
Craftsmanship
Each coaster is hand cut from a single piece of natural stone and the outer edge is left as the slab broke, so no two silhouettes match. Real metal is then electroformed onto that edge: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
