White Agate Serving Tray — Purple Agate Handles

The Stones

White agate and crystal assembled into a clean rectangular surface, with deep purple agate handles mounted at each end. The white surface is neutral and light; the purple handles provide a vivid jewel-tone contrast. The combination echoes the visual language of amethyst in agate — two natural stones from the same geological family, brought together in a single object.

Craftsmanship

The white agate surface is set within a thin rectangular frame. The handles are genuine purple agate slabs, each cut and fitted into their own matching frame. Both the tray frame and the handle frames are electroformed — real metal deposited directly onto the stone, forming a permanent bond rather than a surface coating. The metal won't chip, peel, or rub off with use. The handles are then fixed to the tray sides with small brass pins.
