The Stone

Cut as circles, this white agate carries a faint warm blush through some pieces, so a set will not come out uniformly white. That variation is easier to see on a round face than a square one, where there are no corners to draw the eye.

Craftsmanship

Each coaster is hand rounded from a slab of natural stone, worked down to a circle rather than machine cut, so the curve is never mathematically perfect. Real metal is then electroformed onto the rim: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
