The Stone

Natural amethyst crystal clusters mounted at each end of a brass-plated stainless steel bar handle. Each cluster is a rough piece of amethyst in characteristic purple-violet tones, ranging from cool mid-violet to a deep, saturated purple. The raw crystal surface retains natural faces and fracture planes, giving the quartz a complex, alive quality. The purple stone against the warm brass rod creates a richly coloured, jewel-like handle.

Craftsmanship

The stainless steel rod is brass-plated to a warm gold finish. Each amethyst cluster is thickly electroplated (real metal, not foil that rubs off) and tightly screwed into the rod at each end. The warm brass of the rod complements the cool violet of the amethyst in a classic pairing.
