The Stone

Natural black agate in an elongated flat-slice form - each piece a long bar of deep, near-black stone with a smooth, dense surface and polished finish. Black agate has a quiet depth that catches light differently at each angle - not a flat matte black, but a stone with an internal richness. Some pieces may show faint natural banding between deep charcoal and true black. A strong, architectural material that suits minimal and maximal interiors alike.

Craftsmanship

The edge of each agate slice is electroplated with real metal - brass deposited directly onto the stone through an electroforming process, not gold leaf or surface gilding that can rub off. The thick gold border provides a warm, rich contrast to the cool black stone. The mounting hardware is solid brass. This product is available in gold finish.
