The Stone

White marble in wide, landscape-oriented rectangular handles: white to off-white with faint grey-green veining that varies in pattern across each piece. The marble character is distinctly different from the banded agate handles elsewhere in the collection: quieter and more classical. The heavily textured, crinkled silver electroformed edges add a rich tactile detail to the rim.

Craftsmanship

Each handle is hand-cut from natural stone. The edge is then electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent rim. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
