The Stone

White agate has a quiet, considered presence. This platter shows the stone at its cleanest — near-opaque white with a subtle cloudy interior, fine natural fracture lines running through the surface, and a smooth, even grain that works with almost any table or colour palette. Each piece has a natural irregular edge, so the outline shifts slightly from one to the next.

Craftsmanship

The stone is hand-cut into a large slab format. The edge is then electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent border. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
