The Stone

Classic agate at its most architectural. The stone on this platter shows clear, concentric banding — a mid-tone blue-grey outer band running around the full perimeter of the slab, transitioning inward to a near-white crystalline centre with a fine herringbone pattern. The stone is strongly translucent and noticeably elongated in shape, giving it a distinctive organic silhouette. Every band is a record of how the stone grew — slow, concentric, precise.

Craftsmanship

The stone is hand-cut into a large slab format, revealing the full concentric banding inside. The edge is electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent border. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone.
