The Stone

A platter that glows. The surface is built from a mosaic of small honey-amber agate and calcite chunks — each one slightly different in tone, from pale cream-gold to deeper amber; some pieces may show a warm blush accent. The individual pieces are semi-translucent, so the overall surface has a warm, luminous quality — especially in evening light. The construction is dense and even, with no gaps or seams visible from above.

Craftsmanship

Each stone piece is individually hand-cut and assembled into a flat mosaic surface. The pieces are fitted together closely and set within an electroformed metal border. The overall surface is then polished flat, so the platter sits evenly and functions properly as a serving board.
