The Stone

Rounded slices of natural agate in cream, honey and pale tan, each one banded in concentric rings with a crystalline centre.

The Design

The slices are set into a 10 inch circle and bound in clear resin, with a fine metal border running around the rim. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
