The Leaf & Ambi

The metal on these glasses doesn't wrap around: it panels one side. A large, asymmetric composition of leaf and paisley forms in high relief runs from the base up through the stem and partway up the bowl, leaving the other side of the glass entirely clear. The ambi, or paisley, has been one of India's most enduring decorative motifs for centuries. Here it is rendered in electroformed metal and applied to a wine glass. Unexpected, refined, and rooted in craft tradition.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is made by hand: real metal is built up through an electroforming process over a sculpted core, forming a thick, solid panel of leaf and paisley detail applied to one side of the glass. The result feels like solid metal but is significantly lighter and easier to handle. The outermost layer is applied in your finish of choice: Gold, Silver, or Antique Gold.
