The Green Agate

Green agate runs from pale celadon and mint to richer, deeper forest greens. In raw form the stone carries an opaque, almost jade-like quality, dense and saturated, with natural tonal variation across each piece. The rough formations used at the base of these mugs have a botanical, living quality that reads especially well against the clarity of the glass above.

Craftsmanship

A cluster of raw green agate crystals is built up at the base of the mug, rough formations that rise up and around the foot of the glass. Where the crystals meet the glass, real metal is electroformed directly at the joint, creating a seamless, structural bond between stone and glass. On one side, the crystal formations extend outward, giving each mug a distinctive sculptural presence. The finish, gold, silver, or rose gold, is chosen at the time of order.
