The Stone

A slab of natural amethyst in pale lilac and mauve, with bands of white quartz and warm rust veining cutting across the crystal.

The Design

The amethyst is edged in metal and mounted at the centre of a 10 inch frosted glass disc, which keeps the focus on the stone. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
