The Dark Green Agate

Dark green agate carries the deep, grounding energy of forest and earth. Its rich mossy tones, from deep jade to forest green, make it one of the most striking stones in our glassware collection. Each chip is natural and unique, so the precise patterning varies between pieces.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is made by hand. Genuine dark green agate crystal chips are applied one at a time across the rounded underside of the bowl, and a second ring of chips is set around the foot. Real metal is then built up over both bands through an electroforming process, forming a thick, solid layer that locks each chip in place, crowns the top edge of the bowl band in a raw, organic line, and rims the stone at the foot. Between them the glass is left bare, a short cut knop that catches the light. Unlike paint or thin plating, this is solid deposited metal: it will not rub off, chip, or peel. The outermost layer is applied in your finish of choice: gold, silver, or rose gold.
