The Stone
A pale grey cream ground scattered with dense black spots, which is where the dog's name comes from. The spotting is heavier on some slabs than others, but it covers the whole face rather than gathering in one place, and there is no banding at all.
Craftsmanship
Each coaster is hand cut from a single piece of natural stone and the outer edge is left as the slab broke, so no two silhouettes match. Real metal is then electroformed onto that edge: deposited directly onto the stone in a thick, solid border. Not paint, not gilding, not gold leaf. It will not chip, rub off, or fade.
