The Stone
Rounded slices of natural agate in cream, honey and smoky grey-blue, each one showing its own concentric banding and crystalline centre.
The Design
Dozens of slices are packed tightly across the face and bound in clear resin, so the surface reads as a field of individual stones rather than one slab. The rectangular outline is finished in metal. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
