The Stone

Black Galaxy granite is as close to night sky as a stone gets. The surface is a deep, even, polished black — and across it, scattered white and silver mineral flecks catch light like stars. The effect is not subtle: it is a starfield on a serving board. The surface is smooth and flat, the edge rounded and organic. Against a light table or kitchen counter, it is a statement that needs no context.

Craftsmanship

The granite is hand-cut and polished into a large oval slab. The edge is electroformed: real metal electrically deposited directly onto the stone, building a thick, solid, permanent border. Not paint, gilding, or gold leaf. Actual metal bonded to stone.
