The Stone

Black agate is deep and opaque: a stone with a smooth, consistent surface that gives it weight and presence unlike most stones. Each piece holds subtle variation at close range, but from a wall, the deep black reads as clean and graphic.

Each piece of black agate is individually electroformed at the edge: real metal permanently deposited onto the stone, not paint or gold leaf. The black stone and metallic edge create a bold pairing: Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold all read differently against the dark stone, each finish producing a distinctly different effect.
