The Stone

Deep opaque black agate cut to a precise square and framed on all four sides. The uniform black field makes the metal frame the defining detail, and the polished surface holds a soft reflection rather than a mirror. A dome-headed brass stud at the centre provides the mount.

Craftsmanship

Each stone is set inside an electroformed metal frame on every side, with a brass stud through the centre. Electroforming grows real metal onto the stone rather than laying foil or gilt over it, so the frame is bonded to the piece and will not lift or rub away. The fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.

Specifications

  • Set of 4
  • Face dimensions: approximately 40 x 40 mm
  • Projection: 20 mm
  • Mounting: single M4 stud, standard cabinet bore
  • Finish: Gold, Silver, or Rose Gold electroformed metal frame
  • Fits standard modular kitchen, wardrobe and vanity cabinet bores

As each piece is naturally formed, colour, grain and pattern will vary. No two knobs in a set are identical.

Where it works

Black against ivory or white is the most reliable hardware pairing there is, and it suits a kitchen that is already finished or a study where the joinery is dark. Square black stone in a gold frame is the most graphic thing in the range. Square stone in a metal frame is the most graphic option in the range.

Care

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged moisture contact. The stone surface should not be submerged.
