The Amethyst

Amethyst ranges from the palest lavender to a rich, saturated violet-purple. In its raw form the stone grows in distinct crystal points and clusters, angular geometric terminations that catch light with a faceted brilliance without any polishing. The rough amethyst formations at the base of these mugs carry that characteristic deep purple, often running through natural variations in colour depth that make each piece distinct.

Craftsmanship

A cluster of raw amethyst crystals is built up at the base of the mug, rough formations that rise up and around the foot of the glass. Where the crystals meet the glass, real metal is electroformed directly at the joint, creating a seamless, structural bond between stone and glass. On one side, the crystal formations extend outward, giving each mug a distinctive sculptural presence. The finish, gold, silver, or rose gold, is chosen at the time of order.
