The Stone

Natural pyrite - also known as fool's gold - cut into a multi-faceted dome. Pyrite has a distinctive metallic lustre, deep golden-brass in colour with a bright, reflective surface that looks almost like polished metal. The faceted cut amplifies this quality, each face reflecting light at a different angle to create an intensely shimmery, almost industrial sparkle. A completely different character from any other stone in the range - structural, bold, and genuinely striking.

Craftsmanship

The faceted pyrite dome sits in a gold electroplated brass rim at the base - a seamless pairing of the gold metallic stone and the metal collar. The fixing bolt is hidden within the brass collar. The combined effect is deeply warm and richly gilded.
