The Design

An owl with wings spread and lifted, feathers worked in overlapping rows and the face finished with detail around the eyes. A tall knob, more sculpture than fitting.

Craftsmanship

Each knob is cast in solid brass and finished by hand with an antique patina, so the recesses hold a darker tone while the raised detail stays brighter and lifts further with handling. Small differences in patina and surface between pieces come from the casting and finishing rather than being faults. Screws are included.
