The Stone

A single irregular slab of agate in deep cobalt and azure, with paler cloud-like patches and darker blue veining running through it. The outline is left exactly as the stone was cut, so no two clocks share the same silhouette.

The Design

The slab is thick and substantial, and its whole perimeter is finished in a heavy scalloped metal border. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the raw stone, building a thick, permanent border. Not gold leaf or gilding, so it will not chip, peel or rub off.
