The Stone

A warm, luminous surface of honey-amber agate: the full range of golden-brown stone in a single tray. Pale cream-white pieces sit alongside deeper amber and warm caramel, some showing their own fine banding, others smooth and semi-translucent. In evening light the surface glows with a warmth that cooler stones cannot replicate.

Craftsmanship

Each stone piece is individually cut and assembled into a flat rectangular surface. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the stone in your chosen finish. Unlike a plated finish, electroformed metal is bonded to the surface. It won't chip or rub off with use. A pair of ornate botanical brass handles, finished to match, are mounted at each end.
