The Stone

A warm, luminous surface of honey-amber agate: the full range of golden-brown stone in a single tray. Pale cream-white pieces sit alongside deeper amber and warm caramel, some showing their own fine banding, others smooth and evenly toned. In evening light the surface glows with a warmth that cooler stones cannot replicate.

Craftsmanship

Each stone piece is individually cut and assembled into a flat rectangular surface. The edge is electroformed: real metal deposited directly onto the stone in your chosen finish. This is not paint, gilding or gold leaf. The metal is bonded to the surface, so it won't chip or rub off with use. A pair of ornate botanical brass handles, finished to match, are mounted at each end.
