The Stone

Gabbro in flat slice form: a deep charcoal to near-black ground broken by pale grey and white mottling that runs through the rock in patches and swirls. The proportion of light to dark varies considerably from piece to piece, so a set reads as a family rather than a match.

Craftsmanship

The organic edge of each slice is wrapped in electroformed metal. Electroforming grows real metal directly onto the stone rather than laying foil or gilt over it, so the border follows every contour of the natural perimeter and stays bonded to the piece. The centre stud and fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.
