The Stone

Raw amethyst, broken rather than cut, so every knob is an irregular block that keeps the fractured faces the mineral formed with. Colour runs from deep violet through to a smoky grey-purple, and the pieces differ in height and outline across the set. The stone is uncut and unpolished above the metal cap.

Craftsmanship

An electroformed metal cap is grown over the crown of each stone. Electroforming deposits real metal onto the stone itself rather than coating it, so the cap takes the shape of whatever it lands on and no two are the same. The thread and fixings are solid brass. Available in gold, silver and rose gold.
